Overview
La vie d'une jeune Vietnamienne, Tihn, après une dangereuse traversée en mer et un séjour dans un camp en Malaisie, est acceptée avec sa famille en tant que réfugiés au Canada. Ils arrivent ainsi à Granby où ils entreprennent leur nouvelle vie. Mais pour Tinh, s’adapter comporte son lot de difficultés. Déjà de nature timide et réservée, elle doit apprendre une nouvelle langue et s’intégrer à son nouvel environnement. Hantée par les épreuves du voyage, la jeune fille devra puiser au plus profond d’elle-même la résilience nécessaire à sa survie et son bonheur.
