Overview
Een rijke familie die in Bel-Air, Californië, woont krijgt een twijfelachtig geschenk van hun armere familieleden in Philadelphia wanneer Will Smith arriveert als 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air'. Will verbrijzelt de verfijnde sereniteit van Bel-Air met zijn rebelse mentaliteit, dit tot de ontzetting van zijn oom Philip Banks, tante Vivian, zijn twee nichten Hilary en Ashley, zijn neef Carlton en de butler genaamd Geoffrey. Terwijl de familie Banks hun deuren openen - en hun chequeboek - voor hun behoeftige familielid, past Will zich gemakkelijk aan hun decadente levensstijl aan.
