Overview
Twee miljoen jaren geleden. Aapmens Edouard (Jamel Debbouze) valt uit zijn boom en breekt daarbij een van zijn voorpoten. Om te kunnen overleven leert Edouard rechtop te staan en ontdekt zo het lopen op twee benen. Omgeven door allerlei gevaren op de Savanne probeert hij de andere aapmensen te overtuigen om hem te vergezellen. Door zijn inventiviteit leert hij onder andere om vuur te maken en te jagen.
