Dans un internat chic et élitiste pour jeunes filles, mais hanté par un esprit vengeur, Camille Meadows est la nouvelle pensionnaire de la prestigieuse Fairfield Academy. Elle se trouve entraînée dans le mystère entourant Kerrie, une étudiante décédée après une "Séance" convoquant le légendaire fantôme de Fairfield. Camille se lie d'amitié avec Kerrie et sa clique. Quand elle se retrouve invitée à leur prochaine séance, elle croit d'abord à une farce, mais les autres filles sont tuées une à une .... Le fantôme de Fairfield est venu prendre sa revanche et Camille doit alloer enquêter et tout faire pour élucider ce mystère ... pour échapper au sort fatal des autres pensionnaires.
