Overview
Le vaisseau spatial de la famille Towani s'écrase sur la lune forestière d'Endor. La planète est habitée par des Ewoks, de petits humanoïdes ressemblant à des ours en peluche. Trois d'entre eux, Deej Warrick et ses fils Weechee et Widdle, découvrent les enfants, qu'ils emmènent au village Ewok. Cindel, fiévreuse, est soignée par Shodu, la femme de Deej. Les deux espèces commencent petit à petit à se comprendre. Lors de sa convalescence, Cindel se lie d'amitié avec Wicket, le plus jeune fils de Deej.
