Amy Carr, samotna matka z prowincjonalnego miasteczka, podczas joggingu w lesie nagle dowiaduje się, że w szkole, gdzie uczy się jej syn, trwa strzelanina. Zdesperowana kobieta rzuca się biegiem pomiędzy drzewami, aby jak najszybciej dostać się na miejsce i uratować swoje dziecko.
