Overview
La vie change pour le sélectionneur John Harrison lorsque son équipe de basket-ball de lycée et ses rêves de champion sont écrasés sous le poids de nouvelles inattendues. Quand la plus grande usine de fabrication ferme ses portes et que des centaines de familles quittent leur ville, John se demande comment lui et sa famille vont faire face à un avenir incertain. Après avoir accepté à contrecoeur d’entraîner le cross-country, John et son épouse, Amy, rencontrent une athlète en devenir qui repousse ses limites dans son voyage de découverte. Inspiré par les paroles et les prières d'un nouvel ami, John devient l'entraîneur le moins susceptible d'aider le coureur le moins susceptible de tenter l'impossible dans la plus grande course de l'année...
