Overview
Will Gerards geordnetes Leben als Highschool-Lehrer nimmt ein plötzliches Ende, als seine Frau Laura Opfer eines brutalen Überfalls wird. Vom Täter fehlt jede Spur. Im Krankenhaus trifft Will auf einen unbekannten, der sich selbst Simon nennt. Von Verzweiflung und Rachedurst getrieben lässt sich Will auf ein unmoralisches Angebot ein: Der zwielichtige Simon ist Mitglied einer Untergrundorganisation, die sich auf Selbstjustiz spezialisiert hat. Er verspricht Will Gerechtigkeit, indem er Lauras Angreifer findet und tötet. Doch alles im Leben hat seinen Preis. Die Gegenleistung, die Simon einfordert, bringt nicht nur Laura, sondern auch Will selbst in Lebensgefahr.
