Overview
Team America, eine internationale Polizeitruppe zur Erhaltung der globalen Stabilität, bekommt Informationen, dass ein machtgieriger Diktator Massenvernichtungswaffen an Terroristen verkaufen will. Um möglichst schnell möglichst viele Informationen zu bekommen, will man einen Undercover-Einsatz durchführen, für den die Truppe jedoch einen guten Schauspieler braucht, der sich als Terrorist ausgeben kann. Somit holt die Gruppe den begnadeten und doch erfolglosen Broadway-Darsteller Gary Johnston an Bord, mit dessen Hilfe man die Terror-Zelle enttarnen, überführen und zerstören will. Doch aus Rache wird der Panamakanal von den Terror-Helfern zerstört, wodurch Gary in eine große Glaubenskrise stürzt, aus der ihn nur seine neuen Freunde herausholen können. Doch dann heckt Kim Jong Il einen diabolischen Plan aus, der die Zerstörung der Welt hervorrufen wird und nur Team America kann es schaffen, den größenwahnsinnigen Diktator aufzuhalten.
