Eine junge Frau bekommt die Aufgabe, das Auto ihres Chefs zu dessen Haus zu fahren. Doch Dany Dorémus entscheidet sich stattdessen zu einer privaten Spritztour zu einem kleinen Küstenort. Sie ist sich sicher, noch nie zuvor an diesem Ort gewesen zu sein, doch jeder dort kennt seltsamerweise ihren Namen. Als Dany erfährt, dass sich im Kofferraum des schicken Flitzers eine Waffe und ein menschlicher Leichnam verbergen, wird die Lage immer mysteriöser – obendrein wird sie nun des Mordes an dieser Person bezichtigt. Spielt ihr Bewusstsein ihr einen Streich oder ist sie gar zum Spielball in einem perfiden Komplott geworden...?
