Overview
Elwood ist ein Auftragskiller, der in einer Kleinstadt in Alaska einen Job erledigen soll. Aber anstatt nur den Mann zu töten, für dessen Mord er angeheuert wurde, richtet er ein Blutbad an. Sam ist ein ehemaliger Rodeostar, der durch seinen Umzug von Virginia nach Alaska versucht, seine eher glücklose Vergangenheit hinter sich zu lassen. Jetzt ist er Besitzer des "Sweet Virginia" Motels, in dem eines Tages ein seltsamer Kerl namens Elwood eincheckt. Lila erträgt seit Jahren die Abarten ihres Mannes, bis sie eines Tages einen Auftragsmörder anheuert. Frisch verwitwet muss sie aber feststellen, dass ihr Mann ihr mehr Schulden als Cash hinterlassen hat und sie den Killer nicht bezahlen kann. Schnell geraten die Dinge außer Kontrolle und eine Welle an Gewalt rollt über die Stadt, in der sich plötzlich jeder selbst der Nächste ist.
